Cottage Grove Boys Basketball Summer Details: 

Register for Summer Basketball Here: https://students.arbitersports.com/ Click this link. It will take you to the Arbiter Main Page. Log-in or Create a Log-in if you have not done so before. Then click the CGHS link and it takes you to the list of options to register. Please choose 2026-2027/summer sports/out-of-season). Once you register on Arbiter please pay using the CGHS webstore (link below)

Cost: JV2= 50.00, JV/Varsity= 150.00 (Options how to pay: High school webstore Link- https://cottagegrove.myschoolcentral.com/  by phone to Lena Twyman, or bring payment to the office. Please pay at your earliest convenience. Scholarships are available if needed. Please contact me directly).

Cost breakdown for Summer League: 

Varsity/JV/JV2 Elmira Summer Kickoff Tournament Entry Fee = 200.00 (Varsity) 160.00 JV/JV2 

JV/JV2 Eugene Summer League (40.00 per game x 8 games) = 320.00 Each Team

Varsity/JV Oregon Team Camp = 2610.00  (1305.00 Each Team)

Varsity Redmond Fathers Day Weekend Tournament: 6/19 & 6/20 = 400.00 

Varsity Eugene Summer League (50.00 per game x 8 games) 400.00

Total Summer League Cost = 

All Team Tryouts: 5/26 3:30-5:30pm (Cuts can be made).

All Teams Practice: 5/27, and 5/28, 3:30-5:00pm, and every Monday of the week 3:30-5:00pm @CGHS in the Main or Aux Gyms.

Eugene Summer League Game Format:

Rules 

11 min running quarters

Shoot 1 free throw for 2 points on bonus or shooting foul to reduce amount of time standing at ft line

2 min halftime

Each team gets 2 time outs per half 

Stop clock last minute if game is within 8 points.

2 min overtime

Minimum 5 min warm up time or start on time.

No individual player fouls kept but officials can remove player for excessive fouling

Oregon Team Camp Player Registration: Needs to be done prior to camp starting. Sooner the better.

Moratorium Week (July 27 – August 2) Information: Each year a seven-day OSAA Moratorium Week shall be in effect during which there shall be no contact between administrators/coaches/directors/advisors and students involved in any OSAA-sanctioned sport or activity, including cheer, dance/drill, speech, solo music, choir, band/orchestra. In addition, there shall be no high school athletic facility usage by athletic staff and students/teams, including dance/drill and cheer, during the OSAA Moratorium Week. Use of non-athletic facilities by athletic staff is allowed.
